Joseph R Burke is the Company Director and Specialist Roofer behind JRB Roofing & Building LTD. Based in Tenterden, he brings more than ten years of hands-on roofing experience to projects across Kent, Sussex, Surrey and South East London.
Joe specialises in Kent Peg tiles, natural and artificial slate, and shingles. His hands-on experience also covers leadwork, flashing, roof detailing, and traditional and heritage roofing. You deal with him directly from the first visit and honest quote through to the finished roof.

New Slate Roof & Solar Coordination
JRB Roofing & Building Ltd completed this full slate re-roof in Tunbridge Wells, replacing the existing tiled roof with a smart, durable slate finish.
Working alongside a separate specialist solar installation company, we carefully coordinated the roofing works around the solar panel system to achieve a professional, weatherproof finish.
The solar panels were supplied and installed by a separate company, with JRB responsible for all roofing works.
Stone-in-Oxney, Kent
Kent Peg Ridge Repairs & Eave Tile Installation
JRB Roofing & Building Ltd completed specialist Kent peg tile and ridge repairs at this property in Stone-in-Oxney, Kent, working alongside the homeowner and their insurance company to resolve an ongoing leaking roof.
The existing ridge tiles had become loose due to deteriorated mortar, and missing eave tiles meant the Kent peg tiles were not correctly weathering the roof at the ridge.
We carefully removed the existing ridge tiles, installed new Kent peg eave tiles on both sides and securely re-bedded the ridge tiles using a traditional 2:1:1 mortar mix.
The completed repairs restored the roof's weather protection, leaving the customer extremely happy with the finished result.
